In-person 5th December at The Geelong Racecourse, 10-3pm.

Free Community event with something for everyone. WE LIVE IN HOPE. Victorian State Government rules are that everyone attending an event must be double vaccinated.

December 5th is International Volunteers Day. Humans in Geelong value the opportunity to shine a light on the local individuals and causes that inspire us to serve. Volunteerism empowers individuals to find their purpose, to take their passion, and turn it into meaningful change. We are celebrating by putting on a fun day with something for everyone!

Fun in the Courtyard: Henna by Ani Qayyumi, Craft for Kids – decorating Humans in Geelong Bags to take home, Wooden Tic Tac Toe making with St Leonards Men’s Shed, TJ’s Face Painting – 11-1pm Ana and Olaf from Frozen with giant bubbles and glitter tattoos, The Angel Abrabanel living statue by D. Gordon, Geelong Crusaders, The Empowerment Challenge mobile and information, skater @_yavisht and SES information trailer. All for Kids Party Hire Jumping Castles, Torquay Lions Club mini train. The Roaming Reptiles and AmAble Face Painting will be undercover with the exhibitors.

The Piano Bar is going to open their marquee so that everyone can see what they do best.

Read a story to the Story Dogs. With the Story Dogs there will also be a book reading by local children’s author Kaye Baillie at 10.30am. Drop a toy to the Elf Squad who collect Christmas presents for local families in need.

Roving Magic by Dazzling Dan 1pm, Laughter Yoga Session – with Phillipa Challis on the Members Lawn at 11.30 and 2.30, Dragons Abreast (Breast Cancer Support) information tent.

Kids Kindness Art Competition in collaboration with VALiD’s Peer Action Group in the Exhibitors space. Information:

Rotary Sausage Sizzle, Coffee Van and Food Trucks. Rotary gold coin parking. Note some stalls might only take cash. Barwon Water refill station so bring your water bottles.

While setting up from 8-10am, participants will be entertained by 2 members of popular, quicky latin band Los Locos, from the Surf Coast.

Note: People with low mobility there will be hoist in the easy access toilet on ground level of the Briseis Stand, opposite the stage. Hired thanks to VALID’s Peer Action Group.
