Tony Chen here. I am a local Nuclear Medicine Radiology Doctor who specializes in cancer imaging. I see a lot of cancer in young patients, which is always heartbreaking for me to diagnose.
This year, I will be donating my time, money and dignity to Canteen, a wonderful organization that helps young people with cancer.
I will be shaving my head in front of a live crowd at the Geelong Yacht Club 9-11.30am on Saturday 4th November, and in front of more than 20 thousand doctors on live stream.
We have a huge goal, to raise $100,000, but I think it’s possible. SO LET’S GO!!! You can donate here:

Below is generic message from the canteen website:
I am Raising It to ensure young Aussies impacted by cancer still receive the support they need during this difficult and isolating time.
Canteen supports young people living with cancer, whether it is their own diagnosis, or that of a parent or sibling.
Canteen is once again heavily relying on Canteen Connect the online platform for counselling and peer to peer support during this even more challenging time in a young person’s world. Now more than ever they need the support of Canteen.
Please help me help them, by giving whatever you can using the ‘Donate’ button. The more people that know about Canteen, the greater the impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot! Tony Chen. Photo supplied.
