Walking Home Geelong 2018 was held Saturday and hundreds turned out to raise awareness and much needed funds for the Salvos to help the homeless of the Barwon region. People walked from four points.
The Queenscliff Station at 7.45
The Drysdale Station at 10.30
Leopold at the corner of the Bellarine Railtrail and Christies Road 11.30
Geelong Showgrounds at 12.15
They walked, jogged and ran to the party at the Steampacket Gardens.
Hundreds dusted off their walking shoes, pounded the pavement and had fun. I was very proud of the 50 or more students, staff and families of Leopold Primary School who participated.
