It’s different to other parenting groups because you’ll have the support of a mentor to welcome you, chat with and be guided by. It’s fun and has themed workshops with activities such as scrap-booking, cooking, arts & crafts. We offer skill building in budgeting, legal rights, education and employment and much more.
“Bump is a fun way to meet other mums as well as have some much needed ‘me time’ with experienced babysitters on-site to play with the bubs and kids. Bump is free to attend with food / drinks included. Bump is truly a unique program and our graduates feel connected, supported and keen to return.

Raise Foundation are seeking special ‘mother mentors’ for Bump, who are available to mentor a younger mother through a journey of personal development and growth. Raise is currently seeking interested volunteers who are able to spare 2 hours a week during school terms to mentor a young person. Mentors might be retired, parenting at home, studying, or have flexible work hours. You don’t have to be a teacher or an expert to be a mentor!!
“With the help of volunteers, the not-for-profit, Raise Foundation aims to support over 1,500 young people nationally to feel more resilient, capable and connected.
“Each volunteer mentor is provided with free training in youth mentoring to equip them with the necessary skills needed to make a real difference in the life of a young person. It is So rewarding!
