@humansingeelong and region are taking action to protect our planet. Today is Earth Day. On Friday 3rd May there will be another #schoolstrike4climate at 9.30am outside Geelong City Hall, with a March to @Richard Marles MP’s Office. PLEASE SHARE! Everyone is welcome/needed! Geelong Sustainability are rolling out information about the ‘Climate Election’. There’s a War on Waste Think Tank and this Wednesday, May 1st their Green Drinks topic will be People Power and the Climate Election. Check out their facebook page or website for more information. You’ll see their signs displayed around the region.

Persistent Presence are sitting outside Sarah Henderson’s Office every Friday and encourage you to do the same outside your local MPs office. They want more action to be taken against Climate Change.

For Earth Day 2019 the theme is ‘Protect our Species’. Sir David Attenborough’s Youtube ‘Climate Change, The Facts’ states that 8% of all species at threat of extinction is solely due to climate change and will lead to a collapse of Eco systems.
