Nasir Sobhani is the Streets Barber. He gives back by cutting the hair of the people on the streets. Hear his story when he speaks at the Humans in Geelong Expo, Sunday 5th December at 11am in the Silks Dining Room at the Geelong Racecourse. It is a free community event, with something for everyone, celebrating International Volunteers Day.
Nasir was born into one of the few Iranian families living in Japan, before moving to Canada as a child. Later in life he struggled then overcame drug addiction, finding sobriety through his supportive family and friends. He’s found his passion. He loves people, he loves cutting and connecting with the hair on the streets. Now that he is sober, serving others is the best high that he has ever felt.
