Geelong Botanical Garden’s mighty Ginkgo won Victoria’s Tree of the Year 2026 competition. Planted in 1859 it’s listed as one of the National Trust’s significant trees of Victoria. That makes her 167 years old.
Keep a green tree 🌲 in your heart ❤️ & perhaps a singing bird 🦢 will come. Chinese Proverb. Ginkgos come from that part of the world.
